Nebula Energy’s evacuated tube solar water heaters consist of sealed glass tubes with a thermally conductive copper rod or pipe inside, allowing for higher thermal efficiency and working temperature compared to flat plate solar collectors, even during very cold days.

These collectors are made up of single or multiple rows of parallel, transparent glass tubes supported on a frame. Each tube varies in diameter from 1″ (25mm) to 3″ (75mm) and in length from 5′ (1500mm) to 8′ (2400mm), depending upon the manufacturer.

The tubes are made of thick glass outer tubes and thinner glass inner tubes, covered with a special coating that absorbs solar energy but inhibits heat loss. Made from borosilicate or soda lime glass, these tubes are strong, resistant to high temperatures, and have a high transmittance for solar irradiation.

Our residential solar water heaters are available in capacities of 150L, 200L, and 300L, and for larger sizes, it is easy to combine smaller systems to deliver the required volume. All our systems are fitted with digital microcomputer controllers for ease of monitoring and management.
